Before bed last night, I always bring a bottle of water and place it near my pillows. My throat gets dry during the night and it’s nice to have a sip of water. Well, m throat was dry before climbing into bed and I needed a sip. Before I could put the top back on the bottle, I lost it. I knew it didn’t fall on the floor; otherwise, I would have heart it. So, I looked around the pillow, the sheets, and the bedspread. I was just about ready to give up and waste a bottle of water by having to pour it down the sink, when it hit me! I had an overwhelming urge to check the small pocket on my pajama top. “NO WAY!” I thought, when I saw the white top fitting snugly inside that pocket.

Immediately, these words came to mind, “keep your eye on the prize.” The word “prize” refers to the outcome. In other words, how ever long it takes to accomplish the task at hand, keep with it! Now, of course, this includes continuing to reread the BOOK, no matter difficult it is in understanding parts of it and write what I think relates more to us humans, because believe me, there’s a lot I don’t understand. After all, I’m only a mortal creature connecting the dots the best I can from my own understanding or what I can imagine.
