Have you ever found yourself doing or saying something that is just not ‘you’? Well, you probably have contaminations from other people that are just not compatible with your inner bio-computers. It’s like trying to run a Mac program in a PC computer, and your computers are trying to work when there are conflicting instructions.

When you run someone else’s programs, there are basically three results:

1. You end up running a program or pattern that doesn’t work well in your life. After all, you are designed for specific purpose, which are unique to your life. Their programs don’t and can’t support your assignments.

2. If you have a strong immune system, then maybe you can gut it out or work around the ‘foreign’ programming. However, you’re still using up system resources, which means your own system is slowing down and not protecting you from other viruses.

3. You crash. With a computer, that just means it doesn’t work until you clear it – and meantime your hard drive might get fried. With humans, it can mean exhaustion, brain fog, overstimulation, and/or getting physically sick…

Obviously you don’t want any of those choices! So what can you do?

Find out who YOU are. Of course, that’s what most of spiritual healing and development is about! When you know who you are, you’re more likely to notice when you are NOT being you. So who are you, above and beyond what you do, think, feel or believe? What are you here to do? What are you passionate about? What is the assignment only YOU can do?

Develop good boundaries. That’s why you have boundaries, to protect you from what is ‘not you’. The best boundary statement is “I am, you are”. Those with thin boundaries (empaths) are often good at picking up the thoughts and feelings of others as if they are their own; the downside is that, hey, they pick up other people’s programs and issues, too.

Identify the contaminations. Ask yourself, “Is there anyone on me?” and muscle test or listen with your inner hearing. Then ask “How many?” and make a numbered list. Ask who each person is, without judgment. Often these people are just processing some issue of their own, and you were in the vicinity; usually it’s not about you at all.

Throw them out! Imagine someone throws a basketball at your head – you put up your hands and catch it, right? Well, take each of the people you’ve identified, and throw them back, with sound effects. (The brain needs actions and sounds for both sides to work together.) So… ready, aim, whee-splat!

Do these four steps morning and evening, and you’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to stay 100% YOU!
