You may have been searching vigorously for a workout program to change your whole body and fast. Thanks to this article you have found the best program to masses build muscle and quick. What is this system called? This system is called German Volume Training!
All types of weight lifters have used this program in the past to pack on some serious size and to break through a standstill in their muscle growth. If you want to achieve your weight lifting goals, then you must learn about this specific program.
German Volume Training was introduced by Charles Poliquin in a magazine called "Muscle Media 2000". The basic idea of German Volume Training is that you perform 10 sets of 10 reps equalling 100 reps altogether.
Also, if you do the first set with 100kg you have to do all the sets with this weight. No changing the weight at any time. When you can do all 10 sets with 10 reps each set, you will be able to move up to lifting more weight. You should use this program to improve just 1 exercise at a time. So if you want to increase how much you can deadlift you need to do the 10 sets of 10 reps just when you are doing your deadlifts. You should also note that German Volume Training works best with compound exercises like Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, etc.
So how much weight should you use exactly? Well first you need to find out what weight you can lift 20 reps of the exercise you wish to improve. This is what weight you should use.
As for resting times, 60-90 seconds between sets is acceptable. If you can finish all 10 sets of 10 reps then the next time you workout you should increase the weight and try 10 sets of 10 reps again with this weight. If you can do 10 sets but you can't complete 10 reps on every set then you should do the same weight next time/ until you can complete all 10 sets of 10 reps. The weight increase should be around 5 pounds, not too much more. You should do German Volume Training for the same exercise every 5/6/7 days, if you do it every 2/3/4 days you will most likely injure yourself. So be careful and don't get impatient!
Remember when you do this workout it is not easy. Make sure you keep hydrated by drinking a good amount of water every day and also you should eat a lot of protein each day as well. So if you have hit a plateau in your training and you need something to help you break through it give German Volume Training a try and believe me if you stick to it you will not be dissapointed at the outcome of your hard work with this program!
