Polish pottery is made from white clay, which can only be found in the Polish region of Boleslawiec. The ceramic is fired in coal and gas ovens at temperatures above 2200 degrees Fahrenheit with a lead and cadmium-free glaze. Polish pottery is known for its versatility as it can be safely used in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven. Polish ceramics are also resistant to abrasives, which makes them durable and resistant to scratching or peeling.
