The rules are stricter for enhanced checks as the recruitments will be on the duty in public services like teaching the kids and treating the ill and serving the country. So, to safeguard the positions with a cleared listed employee will be a breather for the employers.

The application process

Whenever a DBS check is called on, you must be sure that your line manager asked the HR to have a check on you. Quite obviously, you will only receive clearance when the HR gets a satisfactory and clear certificate of yours. To get going with the process, you must complete the form fill up needed for the process of checking. Then you need to verify your identity. Next, the responsibility is with the HR to validate your form and send it for a DBS check. Don’t be late to reach the HR with the outcome certificate received from the DBS personally. Try to reach it within 5days of receiving it from the HR. You will receive an email, when the data is put correctly and don’t forget to renew your DBS from time to time.

Both the employer and employees need to work hand in hand to make the process easier and less time-consuming. A DBS clearance certificate in hand will be much useful getting recruited in any job profile.
