Self Improvement and Motivation has everything to do with How you can Earn More Money

Speak with anyone today and they will tell you that having witnessed the world go through financial and many natural crisis, the ability to earn more money has become imperative for reasons of keeping up with the bills, security to back up an initial source of income, contributing to society at large and even giving back to those who are less fortunate or have been stricken by a natural disaster.

I know that most people (including myself) will raise their hand up if an opportunity came about to earn more money. Whether it’s a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars, we all look forward to being able to earn more money. Yet many remain in the phase of what I call ‘wanting’. They want to earn more money, but month after month and year after year, things don’t get any better. They are never able to get themselves to the phase of ‘getting’ what they want.

Thanks to inflation, the basic cost of living is on a continual growth with no consideration that many incomes are not keeping up with it. Many are left staring at a grim picture of realising that without the ability to earn more money, they are caught in a land slide.

So what ever your reasons may be to earning more money this year, I will share with you seven winning thoughts to reflect upon and see how you could apply it in your situation.

1. Rags to riches

What is the first thing that comes to you mind when Rags to Riches is mentioned? Of course, we all think of money. From zero to hero. From nothing to something and that something has a fair few zeros before the decimal point. Yet what many don’t realise is that for every successful person who has gone from rags to riches, every one of them will concur that they managed to earn more money because they first went from Rags to Riches in another department. That department was always with them, but there came a point when they realised their true untapped potential. They went from Rags to Riches in their mind. They nourished their minds to become the sort of people who believed like winners, who had winning thoughts and took massive action doing the right things to the get their results. They attained a winning mind, and earning more money was a predictable outcome after that.

2. Opportunities are plenty

There is no lack of opportunity. There is no lack of resources. Avoid operating from a place of scarcity. Successful people understand that there is plenty in the world we live in, and within this abundance they are able to earn more money by taking a small slice of the pie. You have to believe that. Believe that there is plenty for everyone, and as long as you are open to it, you will see the abundance that there is in our world.

3. Drop your assumptions

What you know or believe to hold true may not necessarily be the case. May be it never held true or maybe things have changed today and what wasn’t possible a few decades ago is now a reality. Look around you, change is occurring at a sonic speed, so be prepared to give your assumptions a check up every few months. You need to open your mind to new things, and new way of doing things. You need to be open to letting go of old thoughts and beliefs. Don’t let preconceived assumptions of sorts that you’ve held for one reason or another hinder your ability to earn more money.

4. Stop with the excuses

You will never run of excuses as to why you need to wait before you start up on a smart venture, or when it will be the best time to give it your 100% mental commitment. Make a pact now to say enough is enough.

If you are serious about earning more money, there is never a better time than now to get started. Forget about the past opportunities you’ve missed. Stop talking about what you ‘could’ve’ and ‘should’ve done. Don’t bring the fear of an uncertain future into the equation, because as much as the media likes to hype an uncertain horizon for us all in the coming year, the reality of the matter is that life has always been uncertain. You don’t know what will happen tomorrow. You don’t know what will occur in the next hour. Indeed it’s uncertain, but somehow we tend to manage. Whether the economy is off to a flying start or freefalling, stop with the excuses and take action. Now is the perfect time. Get out there and make it happen.

5. Follow the system

If you have a working system that is proven and working for others, then save yourself the time of wanting to reinvent the wheel and follow the system. The fastest way to earn more money is to model a successful and proven system. If you want to earn more money this year, then the last thing you would want to do is waste your time trying to create something when you can run with a working model. Hard work pays, but smart work pays more.

6. Busy vs Productive.

Successful people and unsuccessful people have the same twenty-four hours in a day. Today, most people have equal opportunities to access and use resources. Why is it that most people seem to run around frustrated without achieving much, whilst others seem to fit in so much with ease? Being productive means spending income producing hours every day working towards any chosen task or goal until you bring it to completion. Being productive means doing what it is truly needed to get from A to B. Don’t get trapped in being busy all day doing the things that don’t really help you earn more money. Be productive and do the business. That will help you earn more money.

7. Decide and Dedicate

Earning more money is a choice, not a chore. Successful people will tell you what that they made a decision to do what they love and make more money in the process. After that, they did what ever they had to and committed themselves to achieving their goals and earning more money. In short, they followed a principle I teach in my workshops and that is to Decide and Dedicate.

You will notice that all the tips I have given you has to do with your inner world. Where you are today is a result of the quality of your mind. In order for you to earn more money this year, ensure that you nourish your mind so that you are in a position to capitalise on an opportunity when it knocks on your door.

What’s worse than not answering the door when opportunity knocks?

It’s the fact that many go through their life never realising opportunity was knocking.
