Sinus headaches often cause sinus pain and congestion and can make you feel tired and achy as well. Sinus headaches are often due to a misalignment of the second cervical. If the second cervical is out of alignment on the left, a sinus headache will appear on the left side of the forehead or frontal bone. If the second cervical goes out of alignment on the right side, it can cause the headache to appear on the right. Adjusting the second cervical often gives amazing, instantaneous relief. Your headache goes away, you have more energy and you can breathe fully and more easily.
Sinus headaches can also be due to a cranial misalignment. If it occurs in the frontal bone, the headache will appear on the forehead. If the misalignment is in maxillary bone, it will cause a sinus headache in the area of the cheeks. Other causes sinus headaches are diet and food and airborne allergies. If you get chronic sinus congestion it’s best to avoid wheat and dairy products. They’re the biggest culprits. Airborne allergies are often due to emotional armoring in the lungs, the thymus gland or the brain. the CARE Technique or chakra armor release of emotions, often provides immediate relief and can help to treat the underlying cause of airborne allergies.
The third cause of sinus headaches is a sinus infection. The best natural treatment I know for sinus infection is to use a neti pot and add tincture of Echinacea to the saline solution. The use of a neti pot comes from Ayurvedic medicine. The neti pot proceedure irrigates the nasal passages with a saline solution. If your sinuses are congested, after a few minutes of using the neti pot, the sinuses will often be crystal clear. You’ll breathe like you’re up in the mountains.
You might ask "When should I opt for drugs or surgery and when should I try chiropractic?"  When it comes to health problems there are always two options drugs and surgery (the allopathic medical model) or chiropractic, massage or nutrition-the holistic natural model. Common sense would tell you to try the least invasive, safest procedure first and the riskiest, more possible side effects option second.
