Teaching Hospital:
Initially, St. John’s Medical College was associated with St. Martha’s Hospital for clinical training. In the year 1975, the newly constructed St. John’s Medical College Hospital became operational in the medical college campus. The hospital has 1350 beds and equipped with modern technology to treat patients. The hospital offers training to undergraduates, postgraduates and interns. 

Facilities:
St. John’s Medical College campus has a lush green campus. The medical college is well constructed that comprises spacious lecture halls, well-equipped labs, well-stocked central library and hostel facilities.

The Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) through the CBCI Society for Medical Education (a Registered Charitable Trust in Bengaluru) established St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (SJNAHS) as a self-financing private Institution. The institution under its wings runs several educational institutions in the field of medicine, nursing and allied health sciences. St. John’s Medical College is one of the institutions under SJNAHS established in the year 1963 in Bangalore.
