TNMC Mumbai is one of the oldest medical colleges in Maharashtra which was established during the British Era and was named as National Medical College by the British. Later, the medical college was taken over by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and since then the medical college has shown the progressive graph going up gradually.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission

• Completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of MBBS admission.
• Passed HSC examination (Academic Stream of 10+2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects like - English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany & Zoology) / Biotechnology and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying Entrance Exam. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL), the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates. In respect of PwD candidates, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 45% instead.
