Nations on the Red List

There are no nations on the United Kingdom's red list at the moment. Formerly, citizens returning from red list nations were required to self-isolate for 10 days, and non-UK citizens from red list nations were barred from coming to the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, the UK government has said that the facilities for accommodation isolation will be completely decommissioned by March 31, 2022. According to the United Kingdom authorities, house quarantine would be the best alternative if red list regulations were to be reinstated.
Nations on the Green List

Any location not on the red list is deemed green hence all countries are green. However, certain green countries do not allow unnecessary flights from the United Kingdom. Moreover, completely immunised travellers and those under the age of 18 may access the United Kingdom without undergoing any further tests.

Unimmunised visitors from green listed nations should also demonstrate a pre-departure negative result as well as arrange and settle for a day of testing. In addition, unvaccinated travellers are no longer required to undergo a day 8 testing or isolation after they land in the United Kingdom.
