LBC 97.3 FM which is also called London Broadcasting Company is a commercial Radio channel in the UK; it has talk/phone-in format. It is known as the national station of London which is also the first licensed radio network in London. It became online on Monday in October 1973. The LBC’s broadcasting was just limited to the region of London until 2006, but later since 11 February 2014, it can be accessed at the national level too. The network is owned by Global Media. LBC London News is its sibling network.

‘London’s Biggest Conversation’ is a slogan of LBC from 2007-14. After that, it changed it to Leading Britain’s Conversation in 2014.

The first broadcaster of LBC 97.3 was David Jessel, who was online before 6 am on 8 October 1973. Other famous media personalities are Peter Allen, Jon Snow, Adrian Love, Bel Mooney, and Rosie Boycott also spoke at this network. It was initially owned by Canadian Selkirk Communications, but they sold it in 1987. After that, it operated under the new name, Darling Downs. Best Steve Allen is presented by Host Steve Allen at 5 am to 6 am.
After that In Conversation with Steve Allen also presented by Allen at 6 am to 7 am.
The morning Show of Andrew Castle is telecasted at 7 to 10 am.
Then at 10 am to 12 pm, Matt Frei engages the audience.
From 12 to 3 pm at noontime, Maajid Nawaaz becomes online.
After that, from 6 to 10 pm, Clive Bull is on the mainstream.
At 10 pm to 1 am, its Nick Abbot’s time to entertain the listeners.
Matt Stalden shows up from 1 to 5 am.
