Brian Jorg is an outdoor photographer and public speaker based in Cincinnati Ohio. Brian has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. His extensive list of stock images has been photographed from his travels to such destinations as Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Alaska, and the Yucatan. Brian has also led a safari to Kenya, East Africa, and the Peruvian Rainforest. In 2010, Brian will lead a trip to the Galapagos Islands. With extensive travel and in-depth exploration of the photo subjects, Brian has amassed an impressive stock image library. To date, Brian’s photographs have been published in various books, magazines, field guides, calendars, advertisements and greeting cards. Numerous institutions also use Brian’s images in their educational displays. Brian enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge by teaching various educational seminars to the general public, as well as professional organizations. Some of these speaking engagements include the Cullowhee Native Plant Conference, The Ohio State University Short Course, Perennial Plant Association, Cincinnati Flower Show, Southern Ohio Wildflower Pilgrimage and the Grounds Industry Conference. Brian also leads native wildflower workshops and tours of the Great Smoky Mountains. Brian also appears regularly on both TV and radio as a regional horticulture and photography expert. Brian in addition shoots various sporting events from the high school to collegiate level, as well as public events. Brian is available for photo assignments as well. Whether he is trekking the glaciers of Alaska or the plains of East Africa, Brian is constantly learning, observing and documenting nature.
