Destry Maycock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who graduated from the University of Utah in 2001 with a Master of Social Work degree. His undergraduate study included the areas of Psychology and Biology.
Destry is currently employed as a Child Welfare administrator for the state of Utah. Destry also has experience in the areas of private practice, ER crisis intervention, hospice social work and adoptive home studies. Destry's areas of expertise include CBT, Solution Focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and parenting and life skills coaching.
Destry created parentingstore.com (currently under re-development) where he marketed and sold parenting programs that he developed, i.e. The Jar of Consequences and Privilege Sticks.
Recently, Destry has become a nutritional and wellness enthusiast recognizing the vital role one's physical health plays in their overall quality of life.
